Once air monitoring is complete and a safe environment is confirmed, investigation activities will proceed and concurrently, survey crews and an environmental inspector will make observations and assessments to inform repair and restoration planning. We are committed to a thorough investigation. Alberta Wildfire confirmed that the secondary fire is under control and does not pose a threat to any community. We are committed to continuing support for Alberta Wildfire in its response going forward as required. We continue to work closely with regulatory agencies and authorities and will cooperate in their investigation of this incident. We also remain committed to keeping stakeholders and Indigenous communities apprised of our response. At this time, we do not anticipate any service interruptions as we continue to respond to this incident. NGTL’s web-like pipeline structure provides many paths for gas transportation access, which allows for operational flexibility.

We will continue to provide updates as new information is available.
