Bueno Silva gets major victory over Holm

Holm has Bueno Silva pressed up against the Octagon. Bueno Silva is doing a good job of keeping Holm from progressing further by placing a rigid elbow up to her head and neck. Holm tries to shoot levels and Bueno Silva traps her in a modified standing guillotine choke. She has Holm's head trapped as if she's carrying a football. Holm is stuck ... and she taps! Major victory for Mayra Bueno Silva via second-round submission (standing guillotine choke).

Holly Holm vs. Mayra Bueno Silva; Round 1

Holm showing effectiveness fighting forward with excellent footwork and unleashing flurries. However, Bueno Silva is finding success with compact, slashing elbows and pounding knees to the body. She definitely puts her power on notice with a big right hand in that first round. Close round as both fighters have their moments but I give the slight edge to Bueno Silva there as her shots had more impact to them. (10-9 Bueno Silva)

And here comes Holly Holm!

Sprinting her way to the Octagon is the former world bantamweight champion and Boxing Hall of Famer, Holly Holm.

A win here can go long ways toward her earning a title shot with the belt recently being vacated by Amanda Nunes.

Main event time!

The 10th-ranked bantamweight Mayra Bueno Silva makes her walk to the Octagon, looking to make a statement against former world champion Holly Holm.

Jack Della Maddalena earns split-decision victory

Judges see this one 29-28 Hafez, 29-28 Della Maddalena and 29-28 Della Maddalena, awarding him the win.

Della Maddalena vs. Hafez; Round 3

Della Maddalena stuffs a takedown attempt and storms forward bashing Hafez with a vicious right hand across the jaw. Hafez is hurt and Della Maddalena is letting his hands go and tagging Hafez. Now, he takes Hafez down, takes his back and puts on the hooks, while punching away. Yet, Hafez manages to press and muscle his body weight onto Della Maddalena showing plenty of heart. Della Maddalena should win this on the cards, though Hafez showed plenty on the ground with this fight. He's just got to get smarter while engaging in striking. (10-9 Della Maddalena, 29-28 Della Maddalena)

Della Maddalena vs. Hafez; Round 2

Intriguing second round as Della Maddalena takes it to Hafez on the feet, damaging him with his hands and a knee to the midsection. But Hafez proves gritty, managing to muscle Della Maddalena on the ground and grinding him out for nearly the last two minutes of the round. This round could go either way, depending on who you think got the better of the other. (10-9 Della Maddalena, 19-19)

Jack Della Maddalena vs. Bassil Hafez; Round 1

Hafez scores three takedowns during the opening round. What he also managed to do really well was react in their scrambles. There was a moment wihere Della Maddalena clipped him with a punch and Hafez performed a backwards somersault to bounce right up on his feet and fire away with some punches of his own. The only thing Hafez must be cautious about is standing in the pocket and exchanging sloppily with Della Maddalena. (10-9 Hafez)

The co-feature is moments away

It pits Jack Della Maddalena (14-2) against Bassil Hafez (8-3-1) in welterweight action. Della Maddalena is undefeated in the UFC.

Huge TKO win for Prado!

Oh my! Prado faked like he was going to punch low to the body with his right hand only to detonate an explosive spinning back elbow that crashed against Azaitar's temple and instantly opened a bad gash. Prado then unleashed hell on Azaitar with some nasty hammerfists to punctuate the first-round TKO. The 21-year-old gets his first UFC victory.

Ottman Azaitar vs. Francisco Prado is on deck

Azaitar (13-1) looks to bounce back from his first pro MMA loss, which he suffered last November to Matt Frevola via first-round knockout. Prado (11-1) had his undefeated streak snapped in February courtesy of a unanimous decision loss at the hands of Jamie Mullarkey. Who's going to take this one?

Park traps Duraev in rear-naked choke for the submission win

Keep sleeping on the "Iron Turtle" if you'd like. Park kept persisting with his submission attempts and the efforts definitely paid off as he trapped Duraev in an RNC for a second-round submission.

Make it four wins in a row and seven of his last eight for Park, who will crack the Top 15 at middleweight soon.

Key middleweight clash awaits

With nearly identical records, Albert Duraev (16-4) takes on Jun-yong Park (16-5) in this pivotal middleweight matchup that is bound to have ramifications in the division's rankings. Park enters the Octagon tonight having won six of his last seven fights.

Dumont takes unanimous decision

All three judges score it 30-27 for the Brazilian. Chandler had Dumont in a standing arm triangle, before letting her hands go with success in the final round. But Dumont's third takedown of the bout and a total of nearly nine minutes of control time helped power the way for her to win this featherweight fight.

The main event fighters are in the building Interesting moment in the first round

There's something you don't see all the time as the first round had Dumont catching Chandler with a heavy punch, only to send Chandler literally turning her back on her opponent sprinting the other way in retreat. Chandler did rebound, though, tagging Dumont with some stiff left hands as the round progressed.

Up next: Norma Dumont vs. Chelsea Chandler

This featherweight matchup is now underway!

Sadykhov gets second-round submission

After being trapped in a rear-naked choke during the first round, Sadykhov showed excellent defense. Then, in the second, Sadykhov took McKinney's back, trapped his arm and cinched in a rear-naked choke tightly toward an impressive submission victory. Aljamain Sterling loved what he saw!
