When I recommended PJ Washington over 5.5 rebounds in Game 3, I did not consider the possibility that Russell Westbrook would begin to dissemble on national television. The cascade of events that led to Washington’s second technical and the short-circuiting of our prop bet was wild for reasons outside of betting. Yet I could not help but grin in disgust at Westbrook for ruining that play one rebound short with plenty of time to go. Undeterred, we are back at it with one of the best value lines of the series. Get us a half dozen, folk hero.

The likelihood that Irving goes 1-5 for 2 points in the first half for a second straight game seems remote. What is more likely is that he shoulders a bit more usage if his backcourt mate’s knee is not 100 percent. Combine a stronger first half with the near-inevitable second-half run when Dallas needs an injection of offense in the face of whatever Candy Land trick defense the Clippers employ out of desperation. Kyrie gets to 24 today.

Kawhi Leonard. Dude, when you hang on the rim long enough to get a technical foul and then some and the refs don’t call it - that means they know you are not right. We can all see it. Don’t hurt yourself, think of your future.
