The Round Mound of Rebound did not take the roundabout way of talking about detractors of embattled beer brand Bud Light.

While at a bar in Lake Tahoe after taking part in a celebrity golf tournament over the weekend, Charles Barkley had harsh words for those boycotting the brand due to its affiliation with the gay and trans community.

The Basketball Hall of Famer and current NBA TV analyst took to the mic and announced at the bar that he had bought cases of beer for the crowd – and that they were Bud Light.

“’I got three cases of Bud Light,” he said while adding, “If you’re gay, bless you. If you’re trans, bless you. If you have a problem with that, f*** you!”

Barkley went further, calling those who have boycotted the brand over its social stance as “rednecks” and “a**holes.”

“Hey, lemme tell you something. All you rednecks or a**holes who don’t want to drink Bud Light, f*** y’all. Hey, y’all can’t cancel me!” Barkley said to a mixture of cheers and booing from the crowd.

According to The New York Post, Barkley delivered similar statements on a separate night over the weekend when he purchased even more Bud Light for a crowd at the same bar.

“I got three cases of Bud Light,” he told the audience. “If you’re gay, bless you. If you’re trans, bless you. If you have a problem with that, f*** you!”

Bud Light has been under fire since partnering with trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney earlier this year for a March Madness promotion. Since then, the brand has lost its long-held top spot amongst beer sales and has been down roughly 25%.
