Why are we sending kids to school anyway? We should use them to mine precious resources in the rocky mountains. Children, with their smaller bodies, are far more suited for working in mineshafts. They’ll enjoy it too! I mean, just look at the popularity of the video game Minecraft. The children yearn for the mines.

Singing Johnston’s praises
Time for Trudeau and David Johnston to sing Dionne Warwick’s song: That’s what friends are for. Keep smiling, keep lying, knowing you can count on David Johnston for sure, your special rapporteur. For good crimes, for China’s crimes, I will cover up forever more. I’m your special rapporteur, and that’s what friends are for.

Way to do it!
Well done, citizens of Calgary! The Canada Day fireworks will not be cancelled. You spoke loudly, clearly and in large numbers to all those who jumped on that ‘let’s change the big show’ bandwagon. Thanks to the 10 city councillors who supported the people’s wishes and to the indigenous and Chinese reps who had no issues with the traditional fireworks display. Some things just don’t need drastic changes made to them.

Wasted cash
We received notice the city will be repaving our streets in my neighbourhood in June 2023. Great, some streets could use it, but not our cove. There is nothing wrong with our cove, but yet the big blue playpen must spend, spend, spend our tax dollars. Hey, City Hall, fix the major problems first. I see our property taxes going up next month for something we don’t need!
