Three keys to a Raptors win in their play-in game against Chicago on Wednesday night.

Score

The Bulls are one of the top defensive teams in the NBA and it’s not like the Raptors have a consistently high-powered offence to fall back on. But either by getting into the paint to score at the rim or making at least a few corner three-pointers, Toronto must generate offence.

Don’t bite

DeMar DeRozan is going to pump fake and pump fake again. Whichever Raptor is guarding him cannot foul and let him run up his points total at the free throw line. Everyone knows the tactic is coming and it takes discipline but it’s a must to beat the Bulls.

Get back

The Bulls may not be the biggest team but they are also not the slowest and finding them in transition isn’t going to be an easy task for Raptors defenders. It hasn’t been one of the team’s strengths all season but not giving up easy baskets on changes of possession is one of the only ways Toronto can win.
