IIHF Names Referees and Linesmen for 2024 World Juniors

The officials are set for the 2024 IIHF World Junior Championships starting Tuesday.

Here are the referees and linesmen for the 2024 World Juniors in Gothenberg, Sweden.

Daniel Konc is the lone official returning from the 2023 World Juniors crew, while referees Riku Brander and Joonas Kova worked the 2022 event.  Referee Tobias Björk officiated the 2023 IIHF World Championship, and, a few years prior,  handled the 2019 World Juniors. Jiri Ondracek worked the 2018 tournament and 2022 Worlds – both as a linesman. 

Officiating coaches include Paer-Olof Livf (Sweden), Kevin Muench (Canada), Masi Puolakka (Finland), Patrik Sjoberg (Sweden) and Ian Walsh (USA).

The tournament gets under way on December 26, with the Gold Medal Game slated for January 5.
