Caitlin Clark's Indiana Fever vs Connecticut Sun live updates: Latest ...
Q4 0:38 Fever 77-83 Sun
Mitchell misses a deep 3 and Nelson-Ododa gets the rebound. The Fever are forced to foul now and send Carrington to the line, who hits both.
Q4 0:45 Fever 77-81 Sun
Mitchell leaves a 3 short but gets her own rebound. She looks to shoot a jumper but passes instead and turns the ball over. The Sun come the other way and Mabrey knocks down a massive 3!
So many big shot takers and big shot makers in this game. Clark, Boston, Mabrey, and Bonner have all been on their A games down the stretch.
Q4 1:50 Fever 77-78 Sun
Boston makes a layup, Bonner responds with one of her own. Boston makes another layup and this time Bonner responds with a 3!
Caitlin Clark becomes the first rookie in WNBA playoff history to record a 25-plus point, five-plus rebound and five-plus assist game. She's up to 25 points, six rebounds and eight assists.
Remember that Indiana's magic number is 84. When the Fever hold opponents to 84 points or less, they are 13-1 this season.
The Sun have 73 points with just about three minutes left in Game 2.
Q4 2:54 Fever 73-73 Sun
Mabrey responds to Clark's 3 with one of her own to retake the lead for the Sun, before Fagbenle hits a layup to tie the game.
What a finish we're set for here!
Q4 4:00 Fever 71-70 Sun
Clark slides to her left to create separation from her defender and drills a 3 to give the Fever the lead!
Q4 4:54 Fever 68-70 Sun
Clark hits a tough midrange jumper to keep the Fever within five. Clark leads all scorers in this game with 22 points tonight.
Fagbenle then hits just the fourth 3-pointer of her career (!) to pull Indiana within two!
Q4 5:59 Fever 63-68 Sun
Every time it feels like the Sun are about to blow the game open, the Fever do just enough to remain in contact. A fadeaway from Damiris Dantas and a run-out layup from Kelsey Mitchell have Indiana back within five with potentially six minutes to play in their season.
Yikes, the end of Indiana's latest offensive possession — broken or not — feels like a bad indication for where the Fever players' heads are right now... No one moved while Fagbenle was clearly in trouble.
Q4 7:53 Fever 57-66 Sun
Mitchell rattles in a 3 to stop Connecticut's run, but when she has the ball under the basket on the next Fever possession, she can't finish over a pair of defenders.
Thomas finds herself in a similar position on the following Sun possession and does manage to finish, drawing a foul from Hull and knocking down the free throw to boot. Thomas flexes and chirps the Indiana players a bit following the play.
The Fever took their first lead since the first quarter at 48-47, but the Sun have ripped off a 14-4 run since then to reassert themselves.
Caitlin Clark and Indiana have work to do if they're to extend their season past tonight.

Veronica Burton has picked a good night to provide a scoring jolt off the bench. The third-year guard has 10 points so far, reaching double-digits for only the sixth time in her career.
So impressive to see these minutes from her. She spent her first two seasons in Dallas after being selected No. 7 in the 2022 WNBA Draft. The Wings waived her earlier this season, but she was picked up by the Sun in June. Through the rest of the season, she averaged less than 13 minutes per game, but with the Game 1 injury to Ty Harris, her minutes have picked up and she has delivered.
Q3 2:03 Fever 50-57 Sun
The Sun have jumped back out to a seven-point lead after the Fever briefly inched in front.
Clark just committed a turnover by stepping on the sideline. She tosses the ball away in disgust and is given a delay-of-game warning.

Aliyah Boston is just having such a good game on the glass. She just recorded her 16th rebound of the game, but there have even been several possessions when she has cleared space or bodies so one of her teammates could snag the board. Just like I think we should introduce hockey assists in basketball, I'd also like to see the rebound-assist stat — Boston would be a league leader, for sure.
Q3 5:16 Fever 48-47 Sun
Mitchell hits a 3 before finding Hull in transition on the next possession to give the Fever their first lead since the score was 14-13 midway through the first quarter.
The Fever came out for the second half with more than five minutes left in the intermission, well before the Sun, to get some shots up after shooting 36.6 percent from the field in the first half.
So far, so good! Seven straight points from the trio of Hull, Clark, and Boston has the Fever tied less than two minutes into the third quarter.

Q3 8:19 Fever 41-41 Sun
The Fever have started the second half on a 7-0 run, tying the game! Clark has found Hull and Boston for buckets either side of making one of her own.
