Grab your Nevermore Academy BFFs and find the spookiest corner in school: the official Wednesday edition of the Ouija board is coming soon.
Expected to arrive this Wednesday (of course), the newest version of the monochrome set is designed in the spirit of the Emmy-nominated Netflix series’ morbidly curious goth teenager, Wednesday Addams (played by Jenna Ortega), and features a glow-in-the-dark board, the iconic classic planchette with a clear lens and instructions on how to conjure up the unknown.
Depending on whether you believe The Exorcist or I Love Lucy, the popular supernatural board game is either a potential portal to evil or a vehicle for summoning the comedic devil within — and it’ll only cost you 30 bones. Per Hasbro, the game is designed for two to four players ages 8 and up, and takes about 30 minutes to play (or longer, depending on if your spirit is in a conversational mood.)

The Ouija Wednesday edition board game is the latest to collaborate with the hit Netflix series, a modern-day spinoff of the popular 1960s TV series spawned from New Yorker cartoonist Charles Addams’ “The Addams Family” comic strip. Already renewed for a second season, Wednesday debuted in 2022 and earned 12 Emmy nominations, including best comedy series, best actress in a comedy series (Ortega) and outstanding directing for a comedy series (Tim Burton).
Lisa Loring — who died earlier this year at age 64 — was the first to play the brilliantly dark character in The Addams Family sitcom from 1964 to 1966, followed by Christina Ricci in the ’90s films (The Addams Family and its sequel, Addams Family Values).
