Tyreek Hill is denying that he filed for divorce despite court documents that show he did so in Florida on Monday.

The Miami Dolphins wide receiver, 29, is seeking the dissolution of his marriage to Keeta Vaccaro, whom he married in November 2023 during the team’s bye week, according to Broward County court records reviewed by PEOPLE.

But on X on Tuesday, the NFL star disputed the development.

“Boy no the heck we didn’t so don’t put that in the air !!! We are happily married and gone stay that way,” Hill wrote alongside a post from the Sun-Sentinel which said he filed the petition for divorce.

PEOPLE has reached out to representatives for Hill for comment.

In November, the former Kansas City Chiefs player confirmed that he and Vaccaro had married.

"I did get married to my longtime fiancé," Hill told reporters in the Dolphins locker room in a clip shared on X. "It was about time. It's something that we wanted to do over the bye week and we did it. We went through with it. Well I finally went through with it."

"It feels good man," he continued. "Everything that's been happening to me man has been for good reasons."

According to records obtained by TMZ at the time, Hill and Vaccaro were married in Austin, Texas on Nov. 8.

The longtime couple got engaged at a Fourth of July party in 2021.

At the time, his Chiefs teammates were said to have been thrilled for him, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who was engaged to now-wife Brittany Mahomes, and who welcomed him into the “fiancé club.”

“As soon as I did it, I called up my boy Pat, like, 'I'm in the club now man, I'm in the club!' " Hill recalled. "He was pretty fired up, he was pretty turned up by that."

For Hill, the past few months culminating with the end of the Dolphins season have not been without headlines.

On Jan. 3, a fire destroyed most of his $6.9 million home in Southwest Ranches, Florida.

Authorities later determined that a child inside the house who was playing with a cigarette lighter started the blaze.
