Carlson opened the show claiming Ukraine was behind the destruction of the Kakhovka dam, which has so far led to the displacement of nearly 3,000 people, while referring to Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy as “sweaty and rat-like,” and “a persecutor of Christians.”

He later pivoted to the claims from a U.S. military intelligence veteran who made headlines earlier this week claiming that the U.S. government has recovered spacecraft pieces belonging to a “non-human species,” in addition to bodies of alien pilots.

Carlson derided the lack of coverage of the claims from both The New York Times and The Washington Post. “In a normal country, this news would qualify as a bombshell the story of the millennium, but in our country, it doesn’t,” he said.

Carlson also questioned the veracity of the official story of 9/11, while claiming U.S. media had ignored “the truth” about important stories to purposely deceive U.S. audiences.

“What’s happened to the hundreds of billions of U.S. dollars we’ve sent to Ukraine? No clue,” he said. “Who organized those Black Lives Matter riots three years ago? No one’s gotten to the bottom of that. What exactly happened on 9/11? Well, it’s still classified.”

Carlson also aimed some invective at U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham, claiming he was “aroused” by the death of Russian soldiers.

Ukraine and Russia have blamed each other for the dam destruction, while Western intelligence reports have yet to identify the responsible party.

Elon Musk retweeted Carlson’s debut episode, adding “would be great to have shows from all parts of the political spectrum on this platform!”

Musk, who has spoken about turning Twitter into “an everything app,” previously said that the platform had not signed any kind of deal with Carlson to host his show.

“Tucker is subject to the same rules & rewards of all content creators,” he tweeted last month. “I hope that many others, particularly from the left, also choose to be content creators on this platform.”

On this platform, unlike the one-way street of broadcast, people are able to interact, critique and refute whatever he or anyone may say.

And, of course, anything misleading will get @CommunityNotes.

I also want to be clear that we have not signed a deal of any kind…

Carlson ended his segment by saying he had come to Twitter because he hopes it will be the “shortwave radio under the blankets.”

“We’re told they are no gatekeepers here. If that turns out to be false, we will leave,” he said.

“In the meantime, we are grateful to be here. We’ll be back with much more very soon.”
