The TTC is investigating an incident aboard a bus after a video published online appears to show a person lighting a firework while on the bus.

A video posted on 6ixBuzz Tuesday evening appears to show a person lighting a blue firework, which subsequently explodes.

Screams and yelling can be heard on the bus, and passengers can be seen ducking.

In a tweet early Wednesday, the TTC said that they are “aware of a couple of recent incidents of fireworks being set off on TTC buses in Scarborough.”

“(The incidents are) being looked into and those responsible will be held accountable. Fortunately there were no serious injuries and there's plenty of video available to assist investigators,” reads the tweet.

Toronto police said they are aware of the video and are waiting for a report to be completed.
