TEXAS TOWNSHIP, MI -- Six months ago, JoAnne O‘Rourke didn’t think she’d be running for office.

But on Tuesday, Nov. 5, the majority of Texas Township voters selected O‘Rourke to be the township’s next supervisor. O’Rourke received 50.66% of the vote, according to unofficial results from Kalamazoo County.
