The Penguin marks Colin Farrell’s anticipated return as Oz Cobb (aka “The Penguin”), continuing Matt Reeves’ epic crime saga that began with Warner Bros. Pictures’ global blockbuster The Batman (2022). According to the official logline, the series focuses on the character Farrell portrayed in the film.

In addition to Farrell, The Penguin cast includes Cristin Milioti, Rhenzy Feliz, Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Deirdre O’Connell, Clancy Brown, James Madio, Scott Cohen, Michael Zegen, Carmen Ejogo, and Theo Rossi.

Ultimately, The Dark Knight stops the Riddler, who had triggered timed explosions that breached Gotham’s seawall and flooded the city. The Penguin picks up a week later, depicting Gotham in a state of chaos.
