CURRY'S PERFECT QUARTERStephen Curry was on a heater in the first quarter, scoring 18 points on a perfect 6-for-6 from the field, with all of his attempts (and makes) coming from behind the arc. Curry's 18-point quarter tied his season-high in the first quarter and marked the most made 3-pointers he's had in any quarter this season. His career high for made 3-pointers in a quarter is seven, which he's done twice and his highest-scoring quarter without a miss came against the Los Angeles Clippers on Oct. 21. 2021, when he scored 25 points on a perfect 9-for-9 from the field.

Thursday's opening quarter was a stark contrast from Wednesday, when Curry finished the game with just nine points and the Warriors had a season-low 15 points in the first quarter. Curry doubled his total scoring output from the Sixers game in the first quarter on Thursday and the Warriors tripled their first-quarter point total with 45 points.
