Snowfall warning

Moose Jaw is under a snowfall warning, with the area expected to see 15 to 25 cm of snow as a low pressure system from Montana moves into southern Saskatchewan on Saturday.

Environment Canada said the system will bring heavy snows near the Alberta border on Saturday morning, reaching Manitoba by the later afternoon.

East-central Saskatchewan could see heavy snows through until Sunday evening.

Motorists are reminded to check the Saskatchewan Highway Hotline before heading out, to see the most up-to-date road conditions, as a heavy accumulation of snow could impede travel and impact visibility.

When it comes to shoveling, make sure to take plenty of breaks.
