Similar thunderstorm watch notices had been issued for other communities in Eastern Ontario, including Cornwall, Maxville-Alexandria, Prescott-Russell and Morrisburg-Long Sault, but those were lifted at the same time as the advisory for Ottawa.

Some parts of West Quebec remained under thunderstorm watches as of 6:45 p.m.
