It is Election Day in Saskatchewan.

After weeks of the official campaign and months of unofficial campaigning, the voters will have their final say in who will form Saskatchewan's next government.

Advance polling started on the 22nd, and 273,010 ballots were cast by the time advance polling wrapped up on Saturday at 7 p.m. This is the most advance ballots cast in provincial history. The number of advance voters also makes up 33.67 per cent of all registered voters in Saskatchewan.

For those who have not already cast a ballot, polls across the province are open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. To find out where you can vote, Elections Saskatchewan mailed voter cards to those who were already registered to vote at the time the election was called. The cards show where your polling location is.

You can also find out where to vote by visiting the Elections Saskatchewan website.

So, who are the candidates in the election?

Here in the riding of Weyburn Bengough, the candidates are North Hunter (Green Party), Seth Lendrum (NDP), Rose McInnes (Sask United), Andrew Shanaida (Buffalo Party), and Michael Weger (Saskatchewan Party).

In Estevan-Big Muddy, which now includes portions of what was Weyburn-Big Muddy in prior elections, such as Radville, the candidates are Lori Carr (Saskatchewan Party), Andrew Cey (Sask United), Billy Patterson (Green Party), Phil Smith (NDP), and Phil Zajac (Buffalo Party).

In Moosomin-Montmartre, the candidates are Otis Ayre (Buffalo Party), Chris Ball (NDP), Adam Erickson (Sask United), Remi Rheault (Green Party), and Kevin Weedmark (Saskatchewan Party).

You can find the complete slate of candidates running in the election below.

We will have full coverage of the results, on-air and online, as they come in tonight, starting at 8 p.m. when the polls close.
