The Grammy and Juno winner’s Fumbling Towards Ecstasy 30th Anniversary Canadian Tour was to kick off on Friday in Orillia, Ont., but just days prior, she took to social media to say the postponement comes with a heavy heart.

“My voice is not recovering, and I need to take this time to heal,” she wrote.

“I have been so excited to bring this show across Canada and am devastated to make this announcement,” added McLachlan, 56, on Wednesday.

Other stops included her hometown of Halifax, NS, as well as Ottawa, Ont., and Calgary, Alta., to name a few, before wrapping up in B.C.’s capital on Nov. 20.

The local show was set for Victoria’s Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

McLachlan says she and her team “are working as fast as we can to reschedule the shows,” adding, “previously purchased tickets will be honored on the new dates.”
