MVP Pau Victor, who netted a brace, and an Alex Valle pivotal in both goals were highlights as Barca made it two wins from two on the ongoing preseason tour of the United States.
Despite having notched victories at the expense of the last two winners of the Champions League in Manchester City and Los Blancos thus far on American soil, however, Flick conceded that his team has "done great" but also had faults to pick.
"In some situations we sank too deep and didn't put pressure on the opposing player who had the ball. That cannot be and it is a problem," the German said.
"We have to focus on this and press for the 90 minutes," he demanded, staying faithful to the philosophy of modern day coaches from his homeland.
"We knew it was a Clasico despite it being a preseason [match]. I told my players that we wanted to see an improvement on the pitch compared to what we offered against City and I think that's how it was. We have done great," Flick also noted earlier, though.
As for the young guns that have formed the main body of the travelling squad, Flick said that "we have players who are 16, 17, 18 years old" and that it is "fantastic to have them here."
In relation to Pau Victor, who is being tipped as a potential successor to Robert Lewandowski yet is also capable of playing on the wing, Flick was tight-lipped and stressed "We'll see what happens" when it comes to the ex-Girona man's chances of staying with the seniors and not returning to the Barca Atletic reserve outfit for the upcoming 2024/2025 season.
"Two games, three goals. Not bad at all. The door to the first team is always open," Flick insisted.
To wrap up the tour, Barca will now head to Baltimore where it will face AC Milan at the M&T Bank Stadium on Wednesday evening.
