Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom packed on the PDA on the red carpet for a recent fundraising event in New York, but it was a photo of the couple with another celebrity that set the internet abuzz.

Perry and Bloom, who have been engaged since 2019, were photographed at the Kering Foundation's Caring for Women Dinner standing next to Kim Kardashian. The annual event raises money and awareness for organizations that support those affected by gender-based violence.

In one of the pics of the trio, Bloom is looking down and slightly to the left, with Kardashian appearing to be directly in his line of sight.

TMZ published the photo Sept. 10 and claimed Bloom "peered" at Kardashian. Later that day, Perry was asked on the nationally syndicated radio show "Elvis Duran and the Morning Show" for her reaction to the pic.

"Can I show the latest clickbait that just came over my TMZ, have you seen this?" host Elvis Duran asked the "Woman's World" singer.

Perry said she hadn't seen the photo.

"It's you taking a photo with Kim Kardashian, and Orlando's staring at her butt," he said through laughter. "I mean, how could you not?"

Perry reacted with just two words: "I approve."

Duran read out part of TMZ's article before Perry chimed in, "So, what's the controversy?"

"There is no controversy," Duran said, to which the singer said, "Oh great. Count that click, honey."

Perry appeared on the radio show ahead of her performance at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, where she will receive the Video Vanguard Award, an annual merit awarded to artists for notable achievements to pop music.

She will release her seventh studio album, "143," featuring the summer single "Woman's World," on Sept. 20.
