The Lacombe Flying Club is hosting the community- favourite Fly-in Breakfast as part of Lacombe Days today (July 14).

This year, families can expect aircrafts on display, the Vintage Machinery Club's wiggle train, bouncy castles, and vendors.

“We're trying to have a lot for the whole family to do,” said Jon Fromm, President of the Lacombe Flying Club.

General Lee Aviation will be offering airplane rides in the afternoon.

“If people want to take a quick flight around the City of Lacombe, they can see the city from the air,” Fromm said.

This year, a club member is offering helicopter rides, in support of The Broom Tree Foundation.

“It's a fun way to get the community out to the airport, and involved a little bit, see the airplanes, maybe go for an airplane or a helicopter ride and raise a little money for local charities,” Fromm said.

The Fly-In Breakfast is today (July 14) from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m.
