Todt and Yeoh are not married, but have been engaged since 2005. Here's everything you need to know about Jean Todt:

He was born and raised in France.

Todt was born in Pierrefort, in south-central France, in February 1946. His father was a doctor, and he was raised outside Paris. For college, he attended the Ecole des Cadres School of Economics and Business in Paris.

He started his career as a rally co-driver.

By the '80s, he was moving more into a team management role. From 1982 to 1993, he was the director of Peugoet Talbot Sport, and from 1994 to 2007, he was the general manager of Scuderia Ferrari. From 2004 to 2009, he was also the CEO of Ferrari.

He was the president of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile.

Todt and Yeoh met at an event in Shanghai on June 1, 2004, where Yeoh was doing publicity for Ferrari. They became engaged in 2005.

They travel often, Todt said in 2019 that they spend "about 185 days on the road, about 70 in France, and 100 in Geneva." Todt and Yeoh have homes in Paris, the French countryside, Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh, and Hong Kong.

As Amy Nicholson wrote in "The Year of Michelle Yeoh" in Town & Country's September 2022 issue. "Lately Yeoh is beginning to feel too far away from home. Not from her houses in Paris, Geneva, and Ipoh, Malaysia, where she was born, but, she says, 'wherever the people that I love are. Wherever Jean is.'"

They could get married soon.

Later in T&C's September 2022 cover story about Yeoh, Nicholson writes, "Yeoh doesn’t drive ('I’m hopeless. I’ve taken my own license and put it in the safe'), but she adores Todt’s stealthy sense of humor and blue eyes. Rumor has it they’re thinking of getting married this year."

"We’ve been threatening to get married for such a long time. Sometimes we say, 'Wait, didn’t we already do it?'" Yeah said in 2021. As of this writing, Yeoh and Todt are not married.

He has one son, Nicolas Todt.

Nicolas is the manager of major racing drivers.
