The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly in the midst of a professional separation, with royal reporter Tina Brown recently suggesting on GB News that their working relationship is “in a very bad state.”
Brown also accused Meghan of having “the worst judgment of anyone in the entire world,” and that all of the former Suits star’s “ideas are total crap.”
It seems the couple have decided to divide and conquer, and separately attend events and focus on causes that matter to them as individuals.
Meghan recently hosted a dinner for Afghan women at the Southern California Welcome Project through the Sussexes’ Archewell Foundation.
She issued a statement on the Archewell website following her solo Thanksgiving event, saying, “This initiative has spent the past year building community through storytelling and creating a safe space for women who have resettled in the U.S. from Afghanistan.”

Meghan continued: “The evening included a shared meal that encouraged open conversation centered on gratitude and resilience.”
The former actress “expressed her deep appreciation to the attendees for sharing their personal stories and cultural experiences,” adding that she plans to host more gatherings in the future as she “remains committed to uplifting women and fostering community through shared experiences, reinforcing the importance of unity and support during challenging times.”
Meanwhile, Harry has spent time recently attending Invictus Games events in Vancouver, which will host the games next year.

The pair also have appearances next week — on separate coasts.
Harry is set to join Andrew Ross Sorkin for a conversation at The New York Times DealBook Conference on Dec. 4 in New York City, according to a spokesperson, People reported.

Meghan, on the other hand, will be closer to home in Los Angeles, where she is expected to attend the 2024 Paley Honors Fall Gala the same day, and help present Tyler Perry with The Paley Center for Media’s highest honour.

It’s a new dynamic of their relationship, which a friend told People was a “twin-track approach,” as Harry’s focus is more on philanthropic efforts while Meghan leans more towards entrepreneurial projects and commercial ventures.
“The Duke and Duchess have now hit their stride as individuals — not just as a couple,” a royal source told the magazine, noting that the two will also embark on “joint efforts around those cause-driven areas of work.”
The insider assured: “What we are seeing is a functional and healthy relationship with two working partners, not the contrary.”
