Lottery winning tickets drawn across Ontario, including $55M jackpot

An Ontario lottery ticket worth $55 million was sold in Ottawa, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation says.
The corporation said the winning ticket for its latest Lotto Max draw was sold somewhere near the national capital. The draw took place on Friday.
“Imagine waking up a multi-millionaire,” OLG said in a statement Saturday morning.
Another Maxmillions ticket worth $1 million was sold in Kitchener.

Lottery organizers also said a second prize ticket of just under $250,000 was sold around Thunder Bay and two Encore tickets of $100,000 near Sarnia and St. Catharines.
