Of all the millennial-coded moments on night two of the Democratic National Convention—both Obamas, Doug, Modest Mouse, etc.—none was more so than Lil Jon’s surprise appearance representing Georgia during the ceremonial roll call. Everybody, say it with me: “To the window…to the Walz!”

For this year’s roll call, the portion of the convention in which delegates from each state formally log their votes for the presidential candidate, the Democrats decided to mix it up and host a bit of a dance party. Each state was introduced with an instrumental version of a classic song, usually relevant to that state’s history or famous resident. So we heard Bruce Springsteen for New Jersey, Dropkick Murphys for Massachusetts, and Eminem for Michigan. Then, it was Georgia’s turn.

One of Georgia’s most famous sons, Lil Jon himself appeared when the roll was called for his state and he performed a short remix of both “Shots” and “Get Low.” He urged the crowd to rap with him “We not going back” and switched up the words to “Get Low,” saying, “To the window, to the Walz!” The internet quickly declared Lil Jon’s brief set the best thing to ever happen in politics. And particularly for the millennials.
