BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – Rapper Lil Durk was arrested Thursday by the U.S. Marshals Service in Broward County.

Jail records show he is being held at the Broward County Main Jail on a murder-for-hire charge.

Further details about the 32-year-old rapper’s arrest have not been released, however TMZ reported that five members of Durk’s OTF group were indicted by a grand jury in California this week on charges of conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire.

They were identified as Kavon London Grant, aka “Vonnie”; Deandre Dontrell Wilson, aka “DeDe”; Keith Jones, aka “Flacka”; David Brian Lindsey, aka “Browneyez” and Asa Houston, aka “Boogie.”

Durk, whose real name is Durk Devontay Banks, was not listed as a defendant in that indictment.

Prosecutors allege that OTF is a gang whose members killed a cousin of fellow rapper Quando Rondo in August 2022 in retaliation for the fatal shooting of rapper King Von.

Police said King Von was fatally shot in November 2020 in Atlanta after a fight broke out.

It’s unclear whether Durk’s arrest is related to the same shooting as his associates.
