Things have escalated between Lana Del Rey and her swamp tour guide boyfriend Jeremy Dufrene. And by that, I mean they just got married in Louisiana! I’ll give you a moment to process/stare at this TikTok:

News of Lana and Jeremy’s surprise wedding comes straight from the Daily Mail, which dropped exclusive pics and reported that the couple exchanged vows “by the water in Des Allemandes, Louisiana”…which happens to be the “same bayou” where Jeremy operates his swamp tours.

Lana wore a romantic white off-the-shoulder gown (accessorized with a blue ribbon in her hair), and was walked down the aisle by her father. She and Jeremy then attended their outdoor reception and were spotted strolling by Jeremy’s swamp tour boat, which was decorated with flowers for the occasion. Oh, and if you’re curious about the guests at the ceremony, Lana’s sister and brother were in attendance, but TBD whether any of her celeb friends showed up.

A reminder that Lana and Jeremy met on one of his boat tours (classic, straight out of a rom-com) and have been dating for at least a few months. According to People, they obtained their marriage license on September 23—a mere three days before getting married.

A source told the Daily Mail that the musician “wanted to go on a boat tour because it’s a big thing in Louisiana, but she never expected to fall for a gator boat captain. When Lana revisited the area in May to perform at Hangout Fest, they were both single and they reconnected. He saw his golden opportunity and asked her out and they have been together since. She loves older men.”

The insider also the following: “Her friends and team did some digging on him over fears he could be using her, but his business is lucrative and he doesn’t need or want Lana’s money. They can see he treats her right and he’s very, very low maintenance. He gives her what she is seeking in a man and is romantic.”

Okay, then! Congrats to Lana and Jeremy!
