Lamar Jackson Tops Michael Vick's Quarterback Rushing Record

Lamar Jackson has long been the most dynamic rushing quarterback in NFL history. Now he's officially the most accomplished.

Jackson surpassed Michael Vick for the most career rushing yards by a quarterback on Christmas Day against the Houston Texans.

Vick had 6,109 career rushing yards in 13 seasons, 143 games, and 873 rushing attempts. Jackson did it in his seventh season, game No. 102, and carry No. 1,005.

Jackson broke the record on a 6-yard run in the third quarter, nearly reaching the end zone for a second time. He did most of his damage with a 48-yard touchdown run on the previous drive, exploding through the Texans defense for his longest run of the season.
