Lainey Wilson knows what it’s like to have a dream realized. This year, she won Entertainer of the Year, she reprised a close-to-home role on her favorite Western series, Yellowstone, and she got to meet and honor her idol, Miley Cyrus, in a way she never dreamt possible. Knowing how wonderful it feels to get something you’ve always longed for, Lainey is quick to make her fans’ dreams come true whenever possible, inviting them on stage for a moment they’ll never forget. And let’s just say, one little girl is bound to idolize Lainey forever after their latest encounter.

On November 2, the 32-year-old singer shared a clip to her Instagram, introducing the world to her “new best friend” Savannah. Lainey spotted the little girl in the crowd at one of her shows, holding a sign that said “Lainey, my daddy bet me a horse trailer if I get on stage”—“Well, looks like you gettin’ a horse trailer,” she said in response before ushering her into a hug onstage.

“You’re my favorite all-time singer,” Savannah squealed with excitement. “You’re my favorite,” Lainey exclaimed. “You’re the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. Girl, you got spunk.”

The little girl went on to praise Lainey, telling her that she’s her favorite singer alive and that “Heart Like A Truck” is her favorite song. “My daddy is a farmer—he do hard work for me and he raised me up as a farmer and I love him,” Savannah continued.

Lost in the excitement of going back and forth calling each other “best friend,” Savannah started reciting her phone number on stage, which Lainey and the crowd found to be all too endearing. Ensuring Savannah didn’t spill her personal info to thousands of people, Lainey took her to write down her number before bringing her back center stage to recite a series of mantras to remind her just how special she is, and to sing the chorus of “Heart Like A Truck.”

This isn’t Lainey’s first time bringing a young fan onstage during the tour. She’s admitted that one of her favorite parts about the tour is declaring a “Cowgirl of the Night”—and it’s something fans have treasured, too.

“Crying like a baby. She will remember this moment for the entire rest of her life,” one fan commented on the sweet video. “I know this sweet little girl and she loves Lainey so much!!! Thank you for this amazing memory,” another Instagram user exclaimed. “Lainey you are the most darling human and such a great example for women of all ages,” someone else wrote. “Lainey is next generation Dolly,” another Instagram user marveled.

Here’s to more Cowgirls of the Night—and more Lainey Wilson!
