Kick-off the summer season at Customer Appreciation Day on June 14

Join us to celebrate… you! Residents are invited to come together to enjoy free indoor and outdoor activities in celebration of Active Living & Culture’s Customer Appreciation Day at Parkinson Recreation Centre (PRC) on June 14 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Attendees can drop-by for a free swim, workout, refreshments, games, prizes and more!
“Events like Customer Appreciation Day help us express our gratitude to our amazing community,” said Mariko Siggers, Community & Neighbourhood Services Manager. Whether you’re a PRC member, program participant or just want to come down to see what programs, services and events we offer, we hope residents of all ages will join us for a fun-filled day."
Typically held in the fall, this annual event will now take place just ahead of summer, to make the most of the warm weather and enjoy a day filled with laughter, active fun and community spirit.
In addition to the main festivities, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about exciting City initiatives such as Strong Neighbourhoods, as well as get information about upcoming summer events like Park & Play, Sunset Yoga or Dancing in the Park.
