Kate, Princess of Wales, has completed her chemotherapy treatment for cancer and will gradually return to the public eye, according to a lengthy post from the British royal on X, posted more than five months after she revealed her diagnosis.

In a video posted to X, Kate said she is entering a “new phase of recovery” and will be “undertaking a few more public engagements” in the coming months.

Kate, 42, announced in March she was diagnosed with an undisclosed type of cancer and would be undergoing a “course of preventative chemotherapy,” later saying in June she was making “good progress” in her recovery.

Kate said she would be “doing what I can to remain cancer-free,” and despite finishing chemotherapy, she added her “path to healing and full recovery is long.”
