The Chiefs already knocked off one of their top challengers for the AFC throne with a 27-20 victory over the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night. Rookie wideout Xavier Worthy scored two touchdowns in his NFL debut, and the Chiefs survived a scare late when a potential game-tying catch by Isaiah Likely was overturned with five seconds left. Kansas City churned out a big win with Taylor Swift capturing attention from a suite at Arrowhead supporting boyfriend Travis Kelce.

The Bengals were one of the biggest disappointments from Week 1 in a 16-10 loss to the New England Patriots on their home field. Cincinnati lost the battle in the trenches as New England rode Rhamondre Stevenson (25-120-1) to run for 170 total yards (to 121 passing), owned time of possession (34:03) and took advantage of two Bengals fumbles to ugly their way to a win in Jerod Mayo’s first game as head coach. Cincinnati remains a dangerous out, though, as quarterback Joe Burrow finds his rhythm with WR1 Ja’Marr Chase.
