Justin Timberlake Arrested For DWI In New York

Justin Timberlake was arrested on DWI-related charges Monday night (June 17) in Sag Harbor, NY.

According to the Sag Harbor Police Department, the *NSYNC member is due in court Tuesday for arraignment.

Although details of Timberlake’s arrest have not yet been made available, a spokesperson for the police told Newsday the specific charges against him would be announced later today (June 18).

TMZ reports the singer met with friends for dinner at a hotel and left just after midnight. He was reportedly pull over by police moments after he drove off. A source told TMZ the traffic violation was driving while under the influence. 

Timberlake is currently on a short break from his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, which is scheduled to commence in Chicago on Friday (June 21).
