John Cena made a remarkable comeback to WWE at WrestleMania 40 night two, marking his first live appearance on WWE programming since his bout at Crown Jewel 2023, where he faced Solo Sikoa.
John Cena’s unexpected return took centre stage as he became part of the main event of WrestleMania Sunday, witnessing Cody Rhodes‘ historic victory over Roman Reigns to clinch the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Following the momentous bout, Cena took to social media to express his gratitude for rejoining the WWE Universe and being part of the electrifying WrestleMania spectacle. In a heartfelt message, he extended his congratulations to Cody Rhodes for his triumph and emphasised that in WWE, the story never ends.
It is not yet known when Cena will return to the WWE but he is scheduled to appear on the Pat McAfee Show on April 8th.
