Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's 15-year-old is now going by the name Fin Affleck, which Fin confirmed at Garner's father's funeral.
"Hello, my name is Fin Affleck," Fin shared before reading a Bible verse at the service for their grandfather, William "Billy" Jack Garner, who died at the age of 85 in March 2024. The memorial service, which took place on Saturday, April 6, was broadcast in real-time on the Facebook page of the West Virginia church, garnering attention from social media platforms afterward.
Fin, who sported a buzz cut, wore a suit and tie for the event. As for Garner, she announced her father's death on Instagram in a beautiful tribute, saying he passed away "peacefully."
"We are grateful for Dad's gentle demeanor and quiet strength. For how he teased with a mischievous smile, and for the way he invented the role of all in, ever patient girl dad," she wrote in the caption on Monday, April 1. "We are grateful for his work ethic, leadership, and faith."
Since then, the teenager has been spotted in public following the announcement of their new name. Fin was seen meeting their mother at a nail salon, while the teen sported an oversized T-shirt paired with cargo shorts.
Fin is one of three of Garner and Affleck's children. The former couple also shares Violet, 18, and Samuel, 12. The pair tied the knot in June 2005 and got divorced in October 2018. Affleck is now married to Jennifer Lopez.
