Jelly Roll Announces First Ever Canadian Shows
And just like that, Jelly Roll is now allowed to perform shows outside of the U.S.
The country/rock hitmaker has announced his first two Canadian dates, as part of his The Beautifully Broken Tour.
His first official Canadian show will take place on July 8 at the Meridian Centre in St. Catharines, ON. The next day he will perform at Bluesfest in Ottawa, ON on the RBC Stage along with Shaboozey.
This follows up what Jelly Roll (real name Jason DeFord) told Jon Bon Jovi in during their sit down for this month's Interview Magazine.
"It’s funny, America has finally agreed to let me leave and give me a passport, but some countries won’t let me come because of my felonies," he said. "We’re working on that. I think it’s going to work in my favour."
Fans can sign up for an artist presale scheduled for Thursday, June 20 at 10:00AM EST for the St. Catharines date here. The general onsale begins Friday, June 21 at 10:00AM EST.
