Investment bank Stephens, based in Little Rock Arkansas, is advertising for a job. If you’re the sort of person that thinks “PE” is that thing you did in school as opposed to “Private Equity”, it might just be for you – if you meet the requirements, of course.
Unfortunately for your career, however, Stephens' job is not exactly in finance. It’s actually for an armed security guard at Stephens’ golf course, known as the Alotian Golf Club. There is some career development, however; you could potentially be eligible to be involved in “vehicle patrol operations.” A bit different to being a managing director.
So, what are the requirements? Aside from the background check, associates degree, and two years of experience in “law enforcement, emergency management, military or corporate security,” there are also a number of “physical stamina” requirements, which is important “in all of its forms”:
For your efforts, you’ll get a starting salary of $40k. That’s significantly less than pretty much any investment banker on Wall Street, but you’ll be in Arkansas, at least. If that matters to you at all.
