Ahead of Lok Sabha election results, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav assured that INDIA alliance is going to form the government. We won't get anything less than 295 seats, says Yadav. Speaking on the exit poll predictions, the RJD chief said, 'Modiji ka exit poll' has shown a positive swing of 14 per cent for us in Bihar, on the other hand it is 7 per cent negative swing for Modiji and his alliance partners. In Bihar, we will get nothing less than 25 seats, he added. The BJP-led NDA, which Nitish Kumar's JD(U) is a part of, is set to win 31-34 seats in Bihar, News18 Mega Exit Poll predicted on June 1.

According to News18 exit polls, BJP is likely to win dominance with 21-24 out of 42 seats while TMC is likely to get 18-21 seats in West Bengal. A diverse forecast was seen across exit polls by different agencies, according to Dainik Bhaskar, the NDA is expected to clinch between 281 to 350 seats, while INDIA could secure 145 to 201 seats and OTH might bag 33 to 49 seats. Republic Bharat-Matrize anticipates 353 to 368 seats for NDA, with INDIA projected to win 118 to 133 seats and OTH to secure 43 to 48 seats. Republic TV-P MARQ's prediction stands at 359 seats for NDA, 154 seats for INDIA, and 30 seats for OTH. In 2019, the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) secured a landslide victory, winning 22 out of 42 seats, while the BJP and other parties trailed significantly. NDA to get 350+ seats, predicts News18 exit poll

The News18 Mega Exit Poll predicts that BJP-led NDA will project better tally of around 350-377 seats when the results are out on June 4. According to exit poll, the BJP will tally at 305-315. Most polls have predicted that the ruling BJP-led NDA will recieve most seats in Lok Sabha 2024 elections- News 24-Today's Chanakya (400), ABP News-C Voter (353-383), Republic Bharat- P Marq (359), India News- D-Dyanamics (371), Republic Bharat- Matrize (353-368), Dainik Bhaskar (281-350), News Nation (342-378), Times Now-ETG (358), India TV- CNX (362-392) and Jan Ki Baat (362-392)

The enhanced security includes increased police presence, strict access controls, and the deployment of surveillance systems to monitor activities around the counting centre. These precautions are aimed at preventing any disruptions and ensuring that the counting process proceeds without incident, reflecting the true mandate of the voters.

The counting of votes for the Lok Sabha elections will take place on Tuesday. Key points of the process include:

* Postal ballot counting starts first at the Returning Officer's (RO) table.
* Only postal ballots received before the counting begins will be counted.
* After 30 minutes of postal ballot counting, votes from Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) will be counted.
* EVM counting can start on time if no postal ballots are present.
* The Control Unit (CU) of the EVM, along with Form 17C, is required for vote counting.
* Officials must verify the integrity of paper seals and vote tallies before confirming results.
* Results from CUs are recorded in Part II of Form 17C.
* If results are not displayed on the CU, VVPAT slips will be counted after all CUs are tallied.
* VVPAT slips from five randomly selected polling stations per constituency will be verified.
* Rejected postal ballots will be re-verified if the margin of victory is less than the number of rejected ballots.
* In case of a tie, the result will be decided by drawing lots.

Rajasthan BJP President CP Joshi expressed confidence on Friday that the party will achieve a significant victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

"With the blessings of the people of Rajasthan, we will continue the tradition... BJP will win with a huge majority," Joshi stated to reporters on Friday.

Joshi, who is also the Chittorgarh MP, emphasized the trust the people of Rajasthan have in the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. "The Congress has spread numerous falsehoods and tried to mislead the public in various ways, but they will face the consequences on June 4," he remarked.

Addressing the criticism from Congress leaders towards the state government, Joshi said, "They are concerned about the incarceration of those involved in the paper leak case and other criminals. They are also troubled by the exposure of corruption in the Jal Jeevan Mission."

When asked about issues related to electricity and water in the state, Joshi reassured that Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and the entire Cabinet are working diligently to improve the system.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who made his Lok Sabha debut from the Varanasi Lok Sabha seat in 2014, is eyeing his third consecutive win from this seat. He is up against Congress candidate Ajay Rai who is supported by Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party as part of the INDIA bloc. In 2019, BJP candidate Narendra Modi won with a margin of 4,79,505 votes after receiving 63% of the polled votes. PM Modi first contested from Varanasi in 2014 and had won by a margin of around 3.50 lakh votes after getting 56% of the votes. While PM Modi is claiming to get 400-paar in Lok Sabha Elections, all eyes are set on Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi constituency whereModi is likely to win third consecutive time.

Union minister Smriti Irani is eyeing her second straight win from Amethi, which was once considered the Gandhi family bastion. Rahul Gandhi contested from Rae Bareli, a seat long associated with the Gandhis. Other notable candidates include defence minister Rajnath Singh (Lucknow), Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan (Hajipur) and Union minister Piyush Goyal (Mumbai North).
