India beat Bangladesh by 133 runs in the final match of a three-game T20I series to complete a whitewash at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Saturday.
This was India’s third-largest margin of victory by runs. After posting 297 for six in 20 overs, the highest team total by a full-member nation in T20I history, India restricted Bangladesh to 164 for seven.
India’s innings was propelled by Sanju Samson, who scored the second-fastest T20I ton by an Indian, off 40 balls, and skipper Suryakumar Yadav, who struck 75 runs off 35 balls. After they fell, Hardik Pandya and Riyan Parag also played blazing cameos to push India’s total into the stratosphere.
