"Frost is expected. Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees," the advisory stated.

Frost Advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to reach freezing during the growing season, potentially damaging and destroying plants and crops.

Temperatures are expected to warm up on Saturday with a daytime high of around 16 degrees with a mainly sunny sky. For the first day of fall (September 22), it's expected to be cloudy with a high of around 17 degrees.
