A freezing drizzle advisory is in effect for the region, affecting Huron, Perth, Grey, Bruce, and Wellington counties.

Drivers should expect slippery roadways in the morning, expected to end before noon on January 3. The ice may be thin and hard to see.

Environment Canada reminds to slow down on your commute, watch for taillights, and follow other vehicles at a safe distance.
