More than $25,000 -- a record -- was raised for Discovery House Addiction Homes for Men at their annual Father’s Day fundraiser at Skaha Lake Park. Even pouring rain didn’t keep people from enjoying the “celebrity” dunk tank and other fun family events. Leif, the young son of the late Jerome Abraham, was the top celebrity with more than $1,500 in pledges. Overall, it was an amazing day, executive director Blaine Russell said.
