2024 F1 championship standings after Azerbaijan Grand Prix

Max Verstappen's lead in the drivers' championship has been reduced to 59 points after finishing behind Lando Norris in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. 

Oscar Piastri claimed victory at the Baku City Circuit, with Charles Leclerc and George Russell having completed the podium. 

Sergio Perez and Carlos Sainz crashed out on the penultimate lap, helping Norris recover from 15th on the grid to fourth. 

Verstappen finished fifth, allowing McLaren to move into the lead of the constructors' championship. The Woking-based team have a 20-point advantage over Red Bull.
