The City of Saint John will be undertaking storm sewer installations in the above noted areas. The purpose of this project is to provide upgraded infrastructure and to separate stormwater and sanitary sewer flows.

The construction activities will include:

Sussex Drive - Installation of a new storm sewer.

There will be traffic disruptions during the project; however, construction crews and associated traffic controls will be present. As much as possible, local traffic will be permitted.

Shamrock Park – Installation of a storm sewer for separation.

This project is part of the City’s on-going commitment to continually improve its infrastructure and is included in an approved City of Saint John General Fund Capital Program.

Sussex Drive - The project is anticipated to begin in mid-September 2024 and is expected to be completed by the end of October 2024. The work will resume in the spring of 2025 with a summer completion.

Shamrock Park - The project is anticipated to begin in late October 2024 and is expected to be completed by the end of November 2024.

Representatives from the City of Saint John will be available to answer questions related to the project. The public is invited to drop in anytime during the following period to attend the information session for this project:
