The “Dancing With the Stars” Season 32 finale has arrived.
After an eventful season filled with tears, triumphs and testing the couples with their weekly routines, only one can be named the “DWTS” champion and take home the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.
The Dec. 5 finale will be one for the books as the five remaining couples perform two dances during the three-hour-long finale.
With their sights set on being crowned the winner, still in the competition are Alyson Hannigan, Ariana Madix, Charity Lawson, Jason Mraz and Xochitl Gomez.
Judges Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli, alongside hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, will be delivering a jam-packed night with an opening number featuring all the Season 32 couples.
Hough and Ribeiro will also have their own performance, which will include surprise guests. Additionally, Jason Mraz, who is still in the competition, will perform his hit “I Feel Like Dancing.”
And that’s not it! Season 31 winners Charli D’Amelio and Mark Ballas are returning to the stage for a special routine.

Alyson Hannigan and pro Sasha Farber were the first couple in the finale to perform. They took the stage and danced a salsa to “Get On Your Feet” by Gloria Estefan.
The former "How I Met Your Mother" star received praises from the judges for their first dance. Eliminated star Harry Jowsey even got teary-eyed when they waited to get their scores for the judges.

Hough praised Hannigan's energy and giving it her all, Tonioli said it had been a "pleasure" to see her be a part of the show. "I celebrate you and what you brought to the show," he continued, calling her the "people's champion."
Inaba echoed her fellow judges' comments, also sharing how much she's improved over the season.

Ariana Madix and pro Pasha Pashkov showed off their dance moves when they performed a samba to “Spice Up Your Life” by Spice Girls.

Their total so far was 87, with a second chance to get more points in the freestyle round.
Ariana Madix brought it during the freestyle portion of the "DWTS" Season 32 finale.ABCWhen it was their time to shine in the freestyle round, they danced to “Run The World (Girls)” by Beyoncé /“Level Up” by Ciara. The routine was a mix of hip-hop and ballroom, that impressed the judges.
Inaba said it was "off the chart" and called her an "empowered woman." Hough said she "absolutely shined in the routine. You were a main character."
Tonioli said that the reality star was on "top of the game and hot as hell."

Jason Mraz and pro Daniella Karagach were the second couple to head to the ballroom. For their redemption dance, they were assigned a foxtrot to “Fly Me To The Moon” by Frank Sinatra.
Bruno was on his feet after their performance, adding that the late Len Goodman would have loved it. Carrie Ann Inaba called it "effortless" and that his form was "gorgeous." Derek Hough, on his end, said it was "absolutely stellar."
Both Mraz and Karagach were in tear after their first performance, praising each other's hard work this season.

Everyone in the ballroom was on their feet after the performance.
"You pushed that feel-good factor through the roof," Tonioli said, clapping. "You did that," Inaba praised, while Hough said it was "non-stop dancing" and that he "succeeded" in delivering a wonderful performance.

Charity Lawson and pro Artem Chigvintsev were assigned a tango for their first dance. The couple danced to “Libertango” by Astor Piazzolla.
It was a fiery performance with Carrie Ann Inaba calling it "amazing," though said Lawson might have made a mistake at one point. But on Derek Hough's end, he said it was "the best dance of the night." As for Bruno Tonioli said it was "slick, powerful" and elegant.

Their total for the night, combined with last week's scores, gave them a score of 88 heading into the freestyle round.

“I feel like you’ve just been waiting all season to do that,” Hough said, adding he has never seen anything like that during the show’s history.
Tonioli said all the teamwork deserved to be on the Super Bowl, while Inaba said “that is a way to perform a freestyle.”
Their second dance got them a 30/30.

Hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough also got their moment to shine during the "DWTS" finale. The twosome got into the holiday spirit, doing a jolly routine to “Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town” by Mariah Carey.

Among those who participated included past "DWTS" champions like Hélio Castroneves, Hannah Brown and Rashad Jennings.
Xochitl Gomez and pro Val Chmerkovskiy took the ballroom to dance a foxtrot to “Unconditionally” by Katy Perry.
The judges were so impressed by the Marvel star's energy and passion. Bruno Tonioli said it was "a delight watching you." Carrie Ann Inaba called her a "stunning dancer with so much power," while Derek Hough said it was the "epitome of grace and fluidity."

The couple's total, combined with last week's scores, is a perfect 90. They will get a chance to keep their perfect scores going in the freestyle round.
It was a night of celebration as the Season 31 returning champions Charli D’Amelio and Mark Ballas returned to the dance floor. The duo, who took the Mirrorball Trophy home last season, performed a fresh routine to “Give It To Me Baby” by Rick James.

After her performance she said, "I feel like this was one of the best decisions, coming on this show," adding she was "beyond grateful."
Ballas was also congratulated on becoming a dad.
The "Dancing With the Stars" Season 32 finale kicked off with a spectacular opening number that included this season's couples making a return to the stage.
The couples — including Barry Williams, Lele Pons, Harry Jowsy, Mira Sorvino, Mauricio Umansky and more — danced to “Young Hearts Run Free” by Candi Staton. The routine was choreographed by Ray Leeper.
It was a spectacular moment as the entire Season 32 cast celebrated the season wrapping up. Even the five remaining couples joined in on the fun. They were seated on giant hanging disco balls as the other eliminated couples showed off their moves.

Goodman died in April at the age of 78. He was the head judge on “DWTS” since the show started, before retiring last season.
As the finale kicked off, the "DWTS" official Instagram showed off the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.
During the Oct. 24 episode, Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson choreographed a special dance dedicated to the late judge and former ballroom dancer. It was an emotional night as many former pros returned to the stage and performed a waltz to Henry Mancini’s “Moon River.”
The performance ended with a voiceover of Goodman saying, “All good things must come to an end," which had judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and others in tears.
The "Dancing With the Stars" finale will begin at 8 p.m. until 11 p.m. in the respective time zone. However, fans will be able to vote during the live simulcast of the show in the ET and CT time zones. For people in the PT time zones, they can vote from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. PT.

The scores and votes from the last week’s semifinals will be carried over and combined with live viewer votes and judges’ scores from the finale to determine which couple will win the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy, per the "DWTS" press release.
Mark Ballas is a first-time father! The "Dancing With the Stars" alum revealed that he and his wife, BC Jean, welcomed their first child together.
The announcement was shared ahead of the "DWTS" finale on Dec. 5, in which he will be participating.
"Welcome to Earth my son," Ballas captioned his post, before sharing his newborn's name and date of birth. "Banksi Wylde Ballas 11 / 5 / 23."
The photo shows Ballas and Jean's hands holding onto their newborn's tiny hand. The comments were filled with a slew of congratulatory messages from "DWTS" current and past professional dancers, his former partners, friends and more.
Ballas will also be returning to the ballroom during the live finale. As a reigning champion, he and Charli D’Amelio will be performing a new routine to “Give It To Me Baby” by Rick James.
The stars will then return to the ballroom to perform a second dance with their partners in the freestyle round. Some couples will be giving it their all by dancing to one song. However, a number of them are taking a risk and doing a medley.
