UFC legend Conor McGregor made his film debut in 2024’s Road House, the remake of the 1989 hit starring Patrick Swayze.
McGregor stars as Knox, a mafioso tasked with hunting down Elwood Dalton, played by Jake Gyllenhaal. It’s a change of pace for the former featherweight and lightweight champion, who was the world’s highest-paid athlete in 2021, earning $180 million, according to Forbes.
But while McGregor’s accolades are a mile long and his bank account has more digits than a phone book, not much is known about his family life. The boxer prefers to keep his private life private, only occasionally giving us glimpses behind the curtain and into his personal world with fiancée Dee Devlin and their four children.
McGregor gave fans one such glimpse in March 2024 when he told E! News that his kids are following in his footsteps — not in fighting, but in dance.
“I do a little bit of riverdancing. I [did] Irish dancing for sure in school,” he said at the Road House New York City premiere. “My children are doing it. They love it. Irish dancing is a beautiful, traditional dancing art, and we love it.”

He added that dance skills can translate directly to fighting.
“That’s why I have my son in it,” he said. “I know he’ll be nimble on the feet and light on the feet.”

Dee DevlinMcGregor met Devlin in 2008 at a nightclub in Dublin, though the two actually grew up near each other in Ireland. Now a part of McGregor’s management team, Devlin works on everything from his whiskey brand, Proper No. Twelve, to packing his gym bag, as she revealed in a 2015 ESPN profile. The two got engaged in 2020.

Conor Jr., born in 2017, is still a kid, but his dad seems excited about his pro prospects. McGregor says he’s already begun training his eldest son, and it seems to have shown. Phil Sutcliffe, McGregor’s first boxing coach, told the US Sun in 2023 that Conor Jr. “is a natural. He's an athlete, no matter what he does. He's got flexibility, he's strong, he has no fear.

CroíaMcGregor has called his and Devlin’s only daughter, Croía (born in 2019), his “real-life princess.” Croía turned 5 in January 2024, celebrating with a mermaid-themed birthday party. She also started “big school,” as McGregor put it, in 2023, with her proud father writing via Instagram, “The proudest Daddy in the whole world, my daughter Croía in big school today! I love you my baby girl, Princess of the World.”

RianMcGregor announced that his second son was on the way in an Instagram post on Christmas Eve 2020, and Rian was born the following May. Rian makes frequent cameos on his dad’s Instagram feed. In January 2024, McGregor captioned a photo of himself holding Rian with the line, “Hand on heart, my son Rían McGregor I love you so much ❤️????."

The youngest member of the family, Mack was born November 30, 2023. McGregor welcomed him to the world with an Instagram post captioned, “Another chunky healthy boy into the world. Dee, you are my hero.”
