Test Your Deer for Chronic Wasting Disease

The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission offers many avenues for hunters to have deer or elk tested. All elk harvested in Arkansas must be submitted for a CWD test. Submitting samples for CWD from deer is voluntary; however, it is strongly recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, when hunting in areas where CWD is known to be present, before eating the meat.
