Watch The Trailer For 'I Am: Céline Dion'
Amazon MGM has released the first trailer from the forthcoming documentary, I Am: Céline Dion.
The emotional trailer gives viewers an intimate look at the Canadian music icon as she battles with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), which forced her to postpone concerts in December 2022 and has kept her from performing since.
“It’s not hard to do a show, you know. It’s hard to cancel a show,” she admits in front of the camera. “I’m working hard everyday. But I have to admit, it’s been a struggle. I miss it so much. The people, I miss them. If I can’t run, I’ll walk. If I can’t walk, I’ll crawl. I won’t stop.”
Using archival and behind-the-scenes footage of Dion over the years, the documentary is described as an "emotional, energetic, and poetic love letter to music... [that] captures more than a year of filming as the legendary singer navigates her journey toward living an open and authentic life amidst illness."
In February, Dion made a surprise appearance at this year's Grammy Awards, presenting Album of the Year to Taylor Swift. Last month, she graced the cover of VOGUE France, admitting, she's taking one day at a time but "feels strong and positive about the future."
Prime Video will begin streaming I Am: Celine Dion on June 25. Watch the trailer below.
