Start time: 7:00 PM EST / 4:00 PM PSTIn Canada: CBC, CityTV (English), TVA Sports (French)In the Bruins region: NESNStreaming: CBC Gem, ESPN+, Sportsnet+

Another high-quality opponent on the schedule means we’re likely in for another focused Canadiens performance. The Habs have been faring well recently against top clubs, and the energy gets taken up a notch in games versus the Bruins.

Feeling the effects of fatigue over a gruelling two-week schedule, the Habs get the fresh legs of Josh Anderson back tonight to force the Bruins to play a bit of defence. It’s Jesse Ylönen who sits to make room, and Rafaël Harvey-Pinard has dropped down to the fourth line as Martin St-Louis attempts to create four lines he can trust in such a difficult matchup.

The coach has also made some alterations on defence, putting Mike Matheson and David Savard together and creating a second pairing of Kaiden Guhle and Jayden Struble. It will be interesting to see how that middle duo fares as Bruins coach Jim Montgomery will try to get his best players on versus the bottom of Montreal’s lineup on home ice.

Start time: 8:00 PM EST / 5:00 PM PSTStreaming: CBC Gem, YouTube

As the second period of Habs-Bruins begins, the first PWHL meeting between Montreal and Toronto will be getting under way. Montreal is quickly becoming one of the most dangerous offensive teams in the new league, while Toronto is struggling at both ends of the ice. It could be another big game for Marie-Philip Poulin and Montreal’s top line.
